      Down load the firmware on your usb, insert the usb in your htvbox then find the update button and choose the local update selection, it will update automatically.

    My htv2 is having problem. My htv2 cannot turn on and I have to try even 30 times and then it finally turn on. I tried to reboot but still having the same issue.
    Should I do a factory reset?

        Thanks for your fast response.
        I just tried to reset but once the box tried to reset, the box then turned off and can’t be turn on for reset.
        Whenever I turn off the box, I have to try at least 30+ times to unplug and when I get lucky, the box turns on successfully.
        I tried reboot, reset and install firmware but they all doesn’t work because I think the box needs to reboot when doing the above but the box can’t always successfully turn on so even I try reboot, reset and update firmware, none of them works.
        What would be the solution?

    I am from the east coast of USA Boston area, during my morning time, the download speed is only average on 60kb/s, but at my night time the speed increases to hundred kb/s. Therefore, I cannot watch almost all the programs in the morning, but no problems at night. I check my internet speed and it is nothing wrong. So, is there anything wrong with the server? Also, I only can use wireless mode on my machine and when I use the internet cable, it won’t connect. Any suggestions, I verified the setting, but no luck.

        Thx and I did change the mode to “wired Network” but does not get connect and it does not give me an IP address as in wireless mode. Since the box control is all from the remote control, how to buy an extra remote control in case the remote control failed?

          It may be the hardware problem, please go to local dealer to change a new box, also you can ask the dealer whether can sold the remote control individually.

    When there is an update for the program, it always say that the storage is not enough and I need to delete some of the programs before I can update one program. Is there any way to increase the storage?? I have tried to add a sd card, but it won’t work

      Please go to market and download the clean tool. It help you delete the Install package, to release more storage.

      H.TV box is using android system, is as same as the android mobile phone. You just need to delete the security certification. If you didn’t find this option, we recommended you do factory reset.

    Hi, every time I start HTV2 box. The screen freezes at random points. I need to unplug the power and reconnect for about 2-3 times before it is finally ok. And then need to disconnect the HDMI cable once before the screen keeps going Black for about 2 seconds before coming in and let me watch for about 2 mins and goes black again, as if the box is sensing the resolution of the TV.

    IS the first one a temperature problem and the 2nd a video adaptor problem?

    I known HTV2 Box has the XBMC media center, but Can I download Kodi 15.0 “Isengard” on HTV2 Box? and which one I should download between the Android arm or x86?

      Yes, sir. 無線传屏 must use miracast. To download the video to your SD Card, it need root and edit some system file. We didn’t recommended user edit this, because it may led to system error.

      Try to push the reset botton, here is the step
      1. disconnect the power, push the reset button;
      2. connect the power (push the button);
      3. you will see the android robot;
      4. select the reboot system or delete date and try it again;

        I used the HDMI cable come with the HTV box,been tried many different HDMI cable still not working.
        try on an old tv ,then it works.
        it seem the box not compatable with the new tv,have tried the 2 years old and 5 years old tv,both not picking up the signal.only work ,when I connect to an 8 years old tv.seem strange.
